The Goldfields Aboriginal Business Chamber (GABC) celebrated it’s official launch during NAIDOC Week 2020, attended by local business and industry partners of the Goldfields Region.
The GABC is a community initiative that highlights the strength of local Aboriginal entities and business owners and supports economic participation of local Aboriginal businesses. The Chamber emerged from industry feedback on the lack of visibility of Aboriginal businesses, the barriers experienced by Aboriginal businesses in engaging in commercial opportunities, and the community desire to define their own narrative on Aboriginal business matters.
Our director Judd Harris and CFO Damian Cooper are proud to be deeply involved with the GABC mission, assisting with management and development of the chamber so they can expand the presence and impact of Aboriginal businesses in the area (including some of our clients).
